Ship's Captain Ichigosaga Yuiko The Commonwealth Carrier Vessel Yamamoto is one of the toughest old ships of the venerable Halcyon class warships. Carrying a contingent of 10,420 Galactic Army troopers, she pressed into duty when a large scale assault is in order. Typically, this involves falling into orgbit, dropping Galactic Army dropships with the likes of and with assistance from much larger ships, like the Excelsior (Carrier/Excelsior), the Excailbur (Carrier/Galaxy), the Enterprise (Exploration/Sovereign), and the Gauntlet (Exploration/Liberty). It's captain is also tough, being a former Tinman. Captain Ichigosaga keeps a tight ship. Drills, random alerts, and readiness training sessions are a constant on her ship. She is a tough old broad, and she demands the best from everyone, even her former Tinman mates.
Another Tangent of N☼N☼K, wherein Terran science has achieved faster than light capability much sooner than our own World has. By mid 21st Century, 75% of the Alpha Quadrant of this Galaxy has been explored, with another 10% of nearby Beta Quadrant scanned already. Yuiko here is a former Tinman soldier now commanding an old warhorse starship.
