concept designs for VAFF (vancouver asian film festival), i'm helping out with some design ideas and after some thought and searching around, I pondered a great idea! well.. an idea anyways.. who better to model after than ~theyreontome . I love all her pics... and this was exactly what I envisioned in my head for my idea. (the dragon on her arm is the official VAFF logo).

After having recently done a (simple) project in Illustrator, I am in awe of your skill here. Beautifully done. Very striking. I think that would get people's attention for sure! What I'm really struck by is how well the whole thing is balanced. Just enough of everything showing. The hair highlights really help clinch it, too. Good use of a small pallette of color.

Hmmm this is REALLY nice vector work! I really like the use of the greytone and her eyes are really nice. The hair came out really cool and smooth too! That dragon tattoo logo thing is awesome. Keep up the great work!

the vector (pen) tool... is in there, it's near the middle of the toolbar, next to the shape tool or the text tool I think, if I remember correctly... the icon looks like a pen tip..

Wow that's fantastic. She's so beautiful...I can't think of anything I--oh, oh! To the right of her shoulder, there's an area where you drew the shading...it looks a bit abrupt because of the way it juts out...I wish I could explain it more clearly...nevertheless, fantastic work!
