Good advice, first of all. As for this heroine who can't hold back the tears anymore, it's quite a moving image, beautiful in its sadness. Great work on the shading for both depth and mood, especially with the darkness around her eyes which make the tears stand out even more. There's also a lot to the defensive, frustrated way she's holding her arms.
Best of luck with your brain too. I still can't understand why they get that way once in a while, but usually they'll listen to logic eventually.
