This idea's been rattling around in my head for awhile: draw the plucky heroine of Hanna-Barbera's Wacky Races and Perils of Penelope Pitstop in the classic "Speed Racer" pose (with her car, the Compact Pussycat, substituting for the Mach 5*). It's such an obvious idea, I'm surprised nobody else has thought to do it!*It just now occurred to me that Speed's car and the Pussycat share the same number - 5! Coincidental, though, I'm sure.

Great art and concept with an interesting idea, because with a little work I could see both characters existing in the same universe at around the same because they both have gone on great adventures and competed in some of the craziest races ever shown on t.v.Β Β Β

Wouldn't you love to see a new Penelope Pitstop series in which she has Speed Racer-type adventures, instead of the "old movie serial perils"? Oh, there'd still be perils...

Hmmm, maybe if you ever do Tetsuko cos-playing Penelope, maybe you better tuen the Compact Pussycat into a muscle car as well. I don't think Tetsuko would fit into that thing.

Any day now DCM I expect more 'Hanna-Barbara' works to seep out of your mind because you're so good at homages to them... Tet-chan is good but these are really fun please do more.... and maybe some muscle versions ^^ when you can :3
