BotSA = "Battle of the Space Amazons!"

Here's a peek at some of the preliminary and design art I did in preparation for drawing BotSA. I envisioned a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon-style leotard/jumpsuit for the space travelers, and as you can see the final design stayed pretty close to this idea (simplified of course). For some reason I chose not to illustrate an actual sequence from the comic (it may be that I hadn't received the script yet, just a brief description of the possible story elements), and just drew a heroic blonde with a blaster, in the battle of her life! (And no, that's not intended to be one of the characters from BotSA.)

You might also note that this idea - a heroine defeating a giant robot only to hear another one approaching - was recycled in this pic. Hey, when you've only had five good ideas in your life, you gotta get as much mileage out of them as possible!

(And yes, I started BotSA in 2002 and only finished it last November. This is why I don't want to take commissions for multi-page comics stories anymore.)
