Creature sketch between jobs today. It's crazy how my breaks consist of me drawing stuff that I usually get to draw anyway for a living. Hehe.

wow, it's amazing! the face doesn't look like anything seen on any "real" creatures, yet it isn't plain or messy and sort of make sense!

A three-eyed rat humped an injured stirge flopping on the ground. The stirge gave birth to this thing which clawed its way to life and ate its mother. Now it just keeps growing and has to find bigger caves to live in. Soon, it will have to live above ground.

Why does he kill caves, BTW? Is it because he never wanted to be a spelunker, bt was forced into it by his father's expectations ;+? It is because he doesn't like places that aren't full of rock? Is it because his mother lost him in a cave when he was just a little monster and he's now working out the issues this caused? Is he agoraphobic and resentful of it and so attacks caves as a form of displaced aggression? Or maybe he worries constantly about being skewered by stalactites and wants to get them before they get him? And what about Naomi?
