I am proud of myself, I have made a lot of improvement.What do you think of this one? I made this drawing for mother's day and it took longer that I thought and ended up finishing it for father's day. The important thing is that it is about love, parents love

beauuuutiful! me loves horses
It's a bit pale though, maybe because of the scanner, but you could run over it with a mild 5% burn tool in photoshop to emphasize contrasts.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I spent a lot of time with this drawing. I know what you mean about it looking pale, I was still improving my skills with this one and so I decided to leave it as it is because I was so tire of working still with the same drawing.
I have been thinking of improving it with photoshop but I think it would be more like a fake if I change it and not how it was originally made. That is why I haven't change it, I would do it if someone would want to buy a copy and want to change darken it a little bit.

Yes, I did everyhing in pencil, detail by detail very smoothly and it took me terribly long, but I guess it was worth it

Yes, a lot of improvement between this and your older works! The texture and the hair is done really well (I wish I could do it like that).
However, I think you should go and blend the background & clean the transition from the mare's back to bg to the same level of finish as the rest of the drawing. That's the weakest part in your drawing (tho I don't like the framing much either, neither do I like the one which is in the original photo).
The horses are reallreally well done, especially the foal is too sweet for its own good!

Gorgeous, the emotion shines through very well ^^ I really like all the shading on the neck of the mother, all the little lines and details make it look realistic
