Description

The Tusar Revolts are kind of a significant part of their recent history, so additionally to the two Comic strips here are some important notes on it:

The Revolutionaries were founded by a small group of Politics, Economics and Philosophy students of the State University, their charismatic leader at the time was Sandjar Rhas. The group's main focus was the great economic unbalance between the poor Tusar and the Aristocracy, which they blamed the Military favoring government for, namely the Yazgur family and the Yazgur herself. They felt that the large expenses in the Military sector were unnecessary and better put to use towards supporting the lesser parts of the city.

Their group gained many followers in their University body and some middle class citizens. It wasn't until 5 months into the building of the "Modern Revolutionaries" that they gained a stronger following among the outer Tusar citizens.

The Revolution itself was carried largely by the student body in the group, only few poor citizens joined them, out of fear mostly and because the way from the outskirts to the center is a lot of stairs, uphill and strainous in the heat. Especially since many are elderly, or sickly or have to take care of families.

The Modern Revolutionaries symbol color is green, it's meant to represent growth, as opposed to the industrial black and the sacrificial Red in the official Tusa flag. It's a lush, dark green and they carry it in Ribbons, vests, skirts and drapes. It used to be a means of recognition amongst the members.

Out of roughly 150 students, plus roughly a hundred citizens (counts varied over course of the week), 23 died, 52 got drafted, 13 got imprisoned and 80 got injured or hospitalized, although the unreported injuries are supposedly much higher.

Although the Revolution officially got thwarted and scattered, and many former members were placed on house arrest or surveillance, it still continues to propagate underground. Members these days tend to wear double sided cloth or belts. (Tusar law forbids everyone, including Military and Police to undress/force to undress anyone)

Their new leader is the equally charismatic, Shirin Khilen. She is less enthralling than Sandjar, but much more fierce and knows how to stir anger and fire in people. She used to be a scholarship student in Alva History and Tusar literature, but originates from the outskirts of Tusa.

That's about it for everyone who is interested
Also this art is pretty old, took me a while to post it
