PREGAME
An inexplicable manner of magical mess; Lugh loves himself a good time. Self-assured and doggedly determined, few obstacles can deter him from doing as he pleases. The youth is downright hellbent on forging his own path and will fight for his beliefs. A staunch ally for those whose allegiances appeal to him, the wolves he respects are few and far between. From the start he never subscribed to Stonehaven's fanatic hatred of the Kol, nor the dedicated dredgery that was so ingrained in its philosophies. What he craved was adventure; an itch he was unable to scratch in his isolationist home. He is unable to invest himself in tasks that don't interest him and struggled to find a place in the mountain pack's well-oiled machine.
For how extroverted and friendly he acts a majority of the time, Lugh can have a temper. Condescention and failure are the easiest ways to upset him; to which he expresses his frustrations vocally and at length. Often without regard for who might be listening. That said, he understands his position in Skydas is not guaranteed and has learned to bite his tongue to avoid stepping on too many toes. Lugh's upbringing in Stonehaven has cast a negative light over certain subjects, including the use of magic. While not entirely opposed to Kol as he was raised to be, he has no love for them either—nor his birthplace considering the nature of his departure.
History
PREGAME
CW: None
Lugh's parents were the quiet sort; they merely did what was expected of them, nothing more. Faithful to Tundes even after Osirus' demise, the pair sought the pack's reunification with Stonehaven under Yetta. Their youngest litter was born in the cradle of the Tyluman Mountains; two pups survived—surprising considering their advanced ages. These would be their last.
As an experienced couple who'd enjoyed raising their previous pups, Lugh was the most spoiled among his siblings. In the early days there was rarely a moment he didn't enjoy the company of family. Their older offspring would drop in to offer them a reprieve when they could, but both parents found joy in doting on their son and daughter. What they neglected to mention was the toll their birth had taken on his mother's health. Though her will was strong, her body faltered. She passed away just before they reached adolescence. And while he tried to carry on despite his mate's absence, his father was unable to bear the weight of a broken heart and joined her.
So the bond of guardianship fell to their remaining relatives. One of the oldest sisters took the pair, eager to raise them alongside their future nieces and nephews—of which there ended up being only tiny Ruairi. Lugh was ecstatic to have another playmate, but he was too young to understand how truly fragile pups could be. He and Aisling would take turns looking after the tyke, but it was under the brother's watch when disaster struck. While running along the mountain paths trying to keep up with Lugh, now a youth, Ruairi took the tumble that would end his life.
It was a terrible accident. His mother hadn't the will to ask why he'd allowed it to happen under his care, but the law took care of the rest. He was branded and cast out immediately as a traitor. A killer. A vague memory of distant family living in Skydas was enough to pique his curiosity and travel eastward to start a new life. It was just his luck when he managed to collide into a seeker at full speed. After some convincing he was escorted to her superiors and accepted as a member of his new pack.

BONDS
Aisling >> His sister, though she likely doesn't see it that way. He abandoned her when he was chased from Stonehaven; far as he's concerned, the feeling of betrayal is mutual.
July >> Childhood friend and another piece of the Stonehaven life Lugh left behind. While he resents Ash for not following his lead, he understands that July had his own family and was unable to leave them.
Hecate >> An interesting acquaintance. She's the first wolf he met upon his arrival. Bumps and bruises considered, their meeting was a smashing one and he isn't opposed to a repeat performance.
Mink >> The cousin who'd been mentioned by his relatives in passing. He knows nothing about her, not even her name; just that—in the aftermath of the Tundes split—she'd chosen to call Skydas home.
