Well, here's my second try at Apophysis... tried some extremely random things this time and still not sure what I'm doing -_-... But I like the results!
... Though it seems a little unbalanced on the top right corner...Apophysis 2.05 and levels edited in Photoshop CS2

I enjoyed this as much as I enjoyed browsing through your gallery. I'm so glad you got that DD, because otherwise, I wouldn't be able to comment on this.
I like the title, first of all. The title impacts how I view this piece, and maybe that was the intent. The lights are soft and circular, which fit the "harmonic" description. Yet the jagged edges and the incomplete circle represent "dissonance". The background and colors blend together so well, so harmonic; yet they are also contrasting and convey dissonance.
