This comic means a lot to me because I consider this project my life's work. When I was little, I had a dream where I was a monster hunter of sorts. I decided to follow up on the dream and tried to make a story out of it. It started life as The MACE: Mankind's Army of Combat Experts. I finished the story, but it was chockful of copyrighted material and the story made no fucking sense whatsoever. I knew it would never see the light of day, so with the extra notebooks I have, I started planning a remake, actually doing my research and forming a plotline. So, here is the prologue to the newborn phoenix I call The SWORD: Survivors Working on Rebuilding Domain.

To explain this story, it focuses on the adventures of a former Combat Veteran (The Main Character, based on yours truly) who was at the forefront of an invasion of an otherworldly force known as The Dreg 'Atar. He survives the initially invasion but was taken prisoner. Over time, he was finally released and took the opportunity to meet up with any survivors and organize a resistance. After a failed attempt by the Dreg 'Atar to crush this resistance, the survivors were able to gain more followers and they're able to launch a proper counteroffensive against them. And The Shattered Realms War Begun.

I'd really appreciate feedback on this because, as I said, this project means a lot to me. It's my baby and I worked really hard on it, it's my life's work, so any critiques or feedback or really anything you can give me to improve my work would be greatly appreciated. Let me know what you think.
