I was kinda hoping for it to be a Ground/Fire type, because in ancient Greece there was a device known as the Brazen bull. Invented by Perillos of Athens, the bull was hollow, and made entirely of bronze, with a door on one side. Criminals were stuffed into the bull, and a fire would be lit underneath; the victims would be cooked alive by the rapidly-heating metal. Steam then rises out of the nostrils of the bull, accompanied by a whistling noise, like a teapot over a stove. (Ironically, Perillos himself was the first person to "test" the Brazen bull.) This fakemon is still awesome, though!

Love it, I am a taurus, so anything to do with Taurus is awesome....
loved the first evolution, but would have loved to see it more base toward the taurus' myth of being Zeus in disguise to impregnate unknowing virgins!!!!!

p.s. wondering if this is why you gave it ground and electric, being that Taurus is a Earth based zodiac and being the Zeus and the thrower of lighting bolts?
Oh well, none-the-less still loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spartauro looks a little bit too robotic/Digimon-esque to me, but certainly the stature works and Grecalf is awesome. I'd use up PokΓ©balls on these.

The Spartauro description is very similar to what Egyptians (I think? I forget the name of the sacred bull but it had special markings) did to the sacred bulls they found.
I think since it's a Spartan-Bull, it would have been cool to have like plates or markings curving around on the face like a Corinthian helm the Spartans would wear
Great designs!

A vast improvement over the original design. The old one came off looking kind of scruffy, but this one actually looks imposing and dangerous. Also, nice move removing all the plus and minus signs, they really weren't necessary.

GRECALF: "It was once thought to have been worshiped by ancient priests as a messenger of ZEUKICO. Its body is made of super-hard clay that insulates it from its own electricity, enabling it to ram into opponents with its super-hard head."
SPARTAURO: "In ancient times this pokemon was considered a gift from the gods, so people used to adore it and treat it as a sacred being. When charging, it releases the electricity stored in its body, generating massive lightning storms that only it is immune to."

STAMPEDE (Ground, Physical, 120 Damage, 75% accuracy, 5 PP) - Works for 5-10 turns depending on opponent's type advantage.

This is blasphemy. This is madness!
Madness?...
THIS! IS! SPARTAAAAAAAAAAUROOOOOOOOOOOO!"

WHAT YOUR FRIGGIN PROBLEM WITH BULK POKEMONS? THEY CANT ALL LOOK LIKE A TANK, IS BORING, NOT ALL IS BRUTE FORCE

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 3

MugoUrth In reply to Darksilvania [2011-05-24 20:11:59 +0000 UTC]

Also, the reason I complain is because almost NONE of your monsters look strong, even the ones that are SUPPOSED to, and the ones that do, like your flesh gollem Regi, I could care less whether they looked strong. Things I like to see look strong are quadrupedal monsters, or at the very least animalistic ones. Humanoids I could really care less.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Darksilvania In reply to MugoUrth [2011-05-24 21:04:59 +0000 UTC]

well, I'm not here to fulfill your desires, and not always being bulky is equal to being strong, and if you think so you are very wrong

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 2

MugoUrth In reply to Darksilvania [2011-06-23 19:59:29 +0000 UTC]

I know you're not here to kiss my ass, but when you say it's boring for all monsters to look like tanks, well it's also boring for them all to look scrawny, as well. All I ask is to see more strength in some of your designs, I'm not trying to force you to do something, it's just a suggestion.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

MugoUrth In reply to Darksilvania [2011-05-24 21:57:34 +0000 UTC]

I know, but personally, I just like bulkier looking monsters. And it would be nice to see you make one beefy non-humanoid monster.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

coldecko In reply to Darksilvania [2011-04-07 14:46:39 +0000 UTC]

I prefer the streamline look and it does look like it has brute force as well. also it looks epic.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

MugoUrth In reply to Darksilvania [2011-04-07 14:45:06 +0000 UTC]

Whoa, chill dude. It's just a preference of mine for the strong monsters to look, well, strong. I know I tell you to beef up your monsters a lot, but that's nothing to lose your head over.
