Effluo(to vanish or be forgotten). Oh dear lord this pic took me way to long. It seems like all I have been doing is striving to progress my work lately, I have been working so hard at, that is why I havent been on Da as much. Well like I said this pic took me forever. Anyway I thankyou all for your continuos support, and I hope the full version loads on this one this time, so that glowing, lilfrog, and sweetkitten will not have to keep trying ........heheRelated content

Funny coincidence I just finished a painting with birches, and the trees in your background look like birches to me as well
I will tell you what I love most with this masterpiece:
1- the delicate palette
2- the duality movement / staticity
3- the extremely freeing artistic irrationnality of the subject (doesn't need any explanation on why a girl in a forest is drinking wine in a half-corset )
4- the half-corset is so deliciously artistic, ingenous and sensual, injustified yet expressive, harmonious & genial.

Very nice work. The hair reminds me of another piece you did (the one with the woman holding the lamp), its very beautiful. The dress...wow, that makes the entire piece. Its so free flowing and nice and smooth and green and wow look at this run on. Anyway, the roses in the background and foreground are also little morsels of eye candy that really add to the entire soft feeling of the piece. A forest has never been so homely to me before.

Just thought I'd say how much I love it, too. I love the long flowing dress. Green is a great color for this. The fog is so nicely done and it adds such an insteresting, myistical mood to the piece. The only thing I don't like about it is how her chest is so low and long. It sags excessively.
Overall, a beauty!

you are the best! i love the textures in the trees very realistic^__^ and the detail in her dress and corset just blows me away! the mist or fog i think really goes nicely with the pic espiacially since her name means to vanish! mist always gives the since of vanishing i think i geuss because its so hard to see in.... i dunno

Wow... this is really very lovely. I love the details, especially the lace on the skirt. The detailing on the corset is sweet, and the background is great. I love the shading on the tree trunks and the roses. Very nice overall and yes, i CAN see the full view! Yay!

your efforts to improve have paid off immensely, darkly....every picture you upload is better than the last, both in technique nd concept.........i just can't get enough of this stuff
the background is a huge improvement over some of your older pieces, more stable and complete, though not without the ethereal, mystical feeling you seem to enjoy in your work......the figure and anatomy is better than ever, I'm incredibly impressed by the fluidity of the pose and the positioning of the hands.....that wine glass is great, as are the lacy details and folds of the dress and corset.......i find it interesting that very few of your figures wear clothing on the upper portion of their body, and if they do it is so clingy and transparent that it almost isn't even there.....rather sets your work apart from most other artists of the genre you've been working in.
as always, i love your style and inspiration, keep up the amazing work
