Most of my things are pointless/crappy doodles...but then once in awhile, I create a gem like this. ^-^ I like this one, though mostly 'cause it's as weird as the story.

The story behind this? Deidara kidnaps Hinata, as a gift for the Akatsuki (this is before he's joined). Eventually, they form a sort of a friendship, almost (although I think Dei-Dei may have a little crush on his 'Bya-chan'; he calls her that because she doesn't tell him his name, nicknamed that for the Byakugan). But Neji, Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura are the primary rescuers, and are pursuing them. Sakura and Naruto have to head back because of injuries, though, so it's just Neji and Sasuke left tailing them. (Lots of dialogue there, hah.)

Hinata still thinks she likes Naruto, of course, but she's always felt that (adorable) big-brother affection for Neji, and she's really happy that Sasuke isn't giving up on her either...so she has no idea who's supposed to be her knight in shining armor. Naruto, who she always admired but had to give up? Or Neji, who, after reforming, has always been there and protective of her? Or Sasuke, who's determination to rescue her is admirable? Or Deidara, who reminds her of Naruto, but is much nicer and actually cares for her?

I love all the expressions. X3

Naruto's = "8D What are we talking about?"

Deidara's = "8DDDD BYA-CHAAAAAN~ <3333"

Neji's = "D< *hates Deidara* Hinata-sama, we need to go now...away from HIM...>.>"

Sasuke's = "...o_O;;; ...I have never noticed how cute she is...e_e;;" (Or, in my mind: "Dude, your cousin is hawt, Neji.")

*EDIT*: YEAH, I know those aren't all necessarily the timeskip clothes. And Hinata's missing her hitai-ate. THESE AREN'T MISTAKES, PEOPLES. Deidara hasn't joined the Akatsuki, so of course his outfit is different. Hinata's jacket change was on a whim. And since Sasuke didn't defect from the village, he stayed and kept his open-collared shirt. Although I gave him a katana, since he liked those. 8D

PS: I'm personally leaning toward SasuHina, but NejiHina is ADORABLE, NaruHina is a staple, and DeiHina...is crack, adorable, and Deidara must've not gotten the 'it's gonna be SasuHina' note.
