Description Officer Noa Izumi was more then slightly annoyed. Special Vehicles Devision 2, Section 2 had been ordered out to corner and subdue a rampaging Labor Operative. This wasnt just your regular operative though, this was an ex-military labor operative. He had somehow got his hands on a military labor which had been outfitted with a strong ECM jamming device. This had the unfortunate effect of rendering all of Section 2's Ingram's sensors useless. Luckily the Patrol Labor could be operated manualy. Unluckily this meant that Noa and Ota had to raise their seats into the "Up" position. Unluckily beacuse it was raining. Hard.
Izumi shivered as the rain trickled down into her lap. The rampaging Military Labor had holed itself up in a construction site, and had taken hostages. The regular police were negotiating with the jilted Labor pilot at the moment, so SV2 had to remain on stand-by until further orders. Izumi hoped the crisis could be resolved soon. She could stand the rain. She was more worried that the growing pool of water in the cockpit would damage her beloved Ingram, "Alphonse", so such a degree that it would have to go back to the shop...

OMGosh, its Fanart! i never do fanart!

i've been on a Patlabor kick recently, and so here we have Patlabor fanart. and an excuse to try drawing rain again. yup. still trying to perfect it. and Cityscapes.

at the end of several episodes of Patlabor they show a small amount of writing that says "This show is a work of fiction, but in ten years time? who knows?!"

that was in 1992. Here we are 15 years later, and still no giant police robots. Humanity has failed us.

Noa Izumi and Ingram design from "Patlabor: The Mobile Police"

Honestly mate, you just never stop improving. this image is a lot tighter that your previous fanarts and the rain is brilliantly done. well done, pat yourself on the back with that third arm of yours. i know you've got one.

good man. the rain in the background could do with more careful refinement. so could the buildings actually. you gave all your attention to the foreground robots and rain didnt you you naughty brutwurst.
