Beautiful poem, I love it. The second line from the bottom, though, reads "I'll forget how important you are on my life..." where I believe you meant to write "...IN my life...". If there is no error in this, then pardon my mistake. I would not change it otherwise, it provokes and eminates much thought and feeling.

I love the developing irony in the poem. In the beginning lines I got the sense that maybe you were trying to take the poem in that direction and at the end my assumption turned out correct. "Tragically beautiful" is the right term for this poem, as it reminds me how hard it truly is to forget about someone you deeply love. Your peers and friends tell you to just get over it, but they don't understand because they don't feel the way about that special person that you do. Very nice job.

Mm i personally don't think this is a good poem... I'm reading so many romantic poems written by great poets at the university and this does not come even a bit close to what a beautiful poem is. I know writing poems is very hard, and i'm perfectly conscious of the fact that i cannot write a good poem myself, but this poem is just so banal and uninteresting. I guess i'm being a bit too harsh.. sorry. I just commented on this one because i was curios about the DEVart poems and this particular one appears to be the highest-rated romantic poem.
Oh, and by the way, this doesn't look like a romantic poem to me Have you ever read something by wordsworth, coleridge or byron? It's quite different from this, isn't it?
Sorry again for being so harsh, i'm just giving a diffirent point of view on a poem that has 193 +favs at this time.
