Being Malices wife, she is also his mother, giving him birth.

In the day/night cycle, she is the Moon as shown by the crescent moons she is adorned with. Her farming tools being a symbol for harvest. On one hand, it brings new life, the other, death. The hoe is more of a symbol than a actual tool of hers, as such she is more known as a great consumer.

Much like Coatlicue, her belly contains both the womb and the grave.
