Description Probably the best Doctor EVER. This one was a challenge as I wanted to get all the detail of his outfit but have a cool flexible scalf to it didnt hinder him. My good friend Malcom who is also a MASTER figure customiser gave he this tip of using Ribbon. Mine is still no wear near as good as his but It does the job.

you know they actually made one of Tom Baker right? in the scale of the new figures too

nice job BTW. ^_^ i made a scarf for a 4" tall 4th Doc once. i found just the right pattern and added a wire to it so i could pose the scarf and have it stay put XD

Hehe! Damn right! ^^ I do have a special spot for the 9th Doctor, though, since he and Billie Piper rekindled my interest in the show.

Hay, I'm 15 and I love this Doc to bits!! Tom is a wonderful actor and I adored him in Dr Who (been watching it since I was five, and I still do)

Great to hear. Though Its a lot different now.

My kids cant watch the old series as they think its boring and the effects are rubbish LOL. How shallow.

Deffinitely! he does add a little something special to all his roles though- and he's still around and acting. I mean. c'mon, how many other actors can say that they were once monks?

Toms a bit of a legend here in the UK. He mainly does voice over work now but has a ppeared in a few things over the years. He is most famous now for a comedy series Called Little Britain. He does the voiceovers on that. Hilarious they are too.

Oh, I'm sure that Tom is just that! He should be!

You know, I've never seen a single one of the episodes featuring the second Dr and only two of the episodes with the first Dr...I wonder why that is?

Well alot of the first two's episodes dont even exist now. in the 70's the BBC didnt think they would be worth keeping and scrapped hundreds of episodes from the 60's. So there are only a few left now. I think some of them are available on DVD though. Well worth watching just to see how it all started and how different it is.

Oh my god- that's terrible!!!!!!!! I can't believe they just trashed them!!!!!! Isn't Dr Who the longest running show on TV anywhere? Such a shame that the BBC was so short sighted- I got hooked on Dr Who years ago when PBS started running the old episodes on Saturdays. I'd plonk down in front of the tele with a six of Guinness, some summer sausage and tuck in for few hours of the Doctor!

Thats awesome. I have a few friends over there that did exaclt the same. Not sure about the summer sausage but they too got hooked on it on their local PBS stations.

I can still remember sitting watching it with my Dad when I was about 5. Funny how some images stick in your mind.
