This is nobby...he's a pied cormarant. In fact he's the coolest pied cormarant I've had the fortune to meet. A fisherman accidentally hooked his foot, and the people at the tangalooma dolphin resort removed it. However he now has a bum foot and seemingly is very fearful of people. A very nice bird to be sure.Related content

thanks for the advice, however i dont like messing with the pics digitally either, i might as well draw a picture if i was going to change what actually existed

Too much blue light, and too dark overall. That's easy to fix up in photoshop. The stick right above Nobby's head competes for attention, which is also pretty easy to fix, although I consider that cheating (but that's because I'm a traditionalist, so don't listen to me). I've up loaded my edited version right here: [link] The changesin contrast, colour, and brightness are all traditional darkroom tricks, so if you want to tweak those, more power to you. I personally don't approve of altering the actual composition digitally, but that's the way of the future and I won't stop you if that's the way you want to go. Keep up the good work!
