Awesome shot, i love the styling, the textures and her expression and body language, i don't much like the fog around her feet but i can see the desired effect of it. Great work!

It feels like you've heavily manipulated the background.. but I don't know. It's hard to tell.

I like the setting, anyway, and how it appears to be quite urban. The way she is dressed and her make-up/hair gives us the impression of attitude, which impacts the atmosphere so that it feels like... rock/metal-ish?

The central positioning is fantastic and the framing isn't too bad, although it is a bit tight at the bottom, maybe....

I do suggest that you tone down the post-processing a bit, or you could put it in Digital Darkroom, if that is the case. It's just a thought. I feel it's easier to engage with the subject matter if the photo isn't so heavily processed... or gives off that look, anyway.

I mean no offence with what I have said. It is a beautiful piece, overall. Very atmospheric.

Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate the insight. I'm merely an amateur photographer, especially when it comes to the pure, naked art of non-post-processed imagery. Because yes, I tend to post-process a whole lot. Sometimes I definitely overdo it. This piece however is fairly untouched, actually. The background is not manipulated at all apart from some smoke effects and obvious increases of contrast and such. But I hear you. I really hope I'll one day be able to shoot great photos just by using camera and not necessarily spend hours in Photoshop afterwards. It's a long way to go, I feel.

Thanks again for your words, this is exactly what I need to hear to improve.
