Well, something else happened that hindered my progress on the Chopper (Star Wars) 3D model . I don't remember when it was, but my internet service had really bad problems and I was without internet for 7 hours, and the idiot didn't download enough references for what I needed to do for the 3D model .

Aside from playing Mario Tennis Open and catching up on sleep after staying up late trying to deliver the first part of a compiler for a class at my university, I couldn't get any further with Chopper's texturing . Late at night, and still without internet (which came back just in time for me to go to sleep), that's when it occurred to me to review my old 3D models to post it to my Ko-fi, Itch.io and Gumroad accounts. I remembered that one of my most popular 3D models on Sketchfab is the Tron Light Cycle, so I decided to give it its nice optimization .

What an optimization I gave it. From the 673k+ tris that the original model had, I reduced it to 13k+ . I didn't modify the shaders of the 3D model, because I felt that Blender could already move the whole project without much difficulty (not like before), even in the Cycles render engine.

And, as I want it to become customary, for every old 3D model I optimize, it will receive 1-3 new renders. This is the first of 3 new renders I plan for this 3D model, because that's how much I like the Tron: Legacy movie .

I had also seen a few weeks ago a tutorial on how to make retro art without falling into synthwave, so I decided to try it with the render you see here. I don't know if I got that aesthetic, but I got results that I loved, so much so that this render became my new wallpaper for the computer .
