I'm glad I didn't give up on this. I largely saved the wolf by adding more black layers, although he is still my least favourite part. Hard to balance the white and black while also keeping the moon's lighting in mind. I am overall satisfied with the piece because I think I captured the mood, but I would do things differently the second time around. The piece also challenged me to move forward despite mistakes, which I find is a good exercise. I bought a white acrylic pen today. While it was great for the snow, it took some learning for the wolf. But I think it will be useful in the future.

My favourite weather condition is heavy snowfall with no wind. It's even better when it's nighttime, because it's usually more silent. It's a versatile state: it can be romantic, or lonely, or comforting, or sad. I love going out for walks when it's snowing.
