Description character: color refined rendition of AGU recurring heroine Jaina Hamnos

Jaina Hamnos was a young applicant for a detective's position for the police force at her home planet of Asherah VII. But a temper-induced screw up on her first case landed her at the department's traffic division where she became partnered to a dreamy-eyed rookie named Alax Starwisher . Jaina and Alax worked together for three years, establishing and on-again/off-again relationship where Jaina is over-frustrated with Alax's klutziness and constant nagging, leading her to induce physical (for comedic purposes) abuse to the blond officer, though despite this, they stayed lasting partners much to Jaina's chagrin. After closing a case on a routine traffic violation, Jaina lost touch with Alax as she searched for her for hours leading to an abandoned warehouse, only to discover that her partner, who regained consciousness minutes earlier, was questioned by internal affairs agents regarding her involvement in the robbery and sale of military-grade WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) systems to intergalactic terrorists. Hours later at the precinct they worked, Jaina was finally free of Alax's shenanigans for good, although she has somewhat slight concerns about her partner's involvement in such an arms deal of this much magnitude. Hours later, a police radio dispatch went out on an all points bulletin to Alax, who escaped custody and stole two Metron-VI power suits from the armory and was heading towards the local spaceport. Determined to end her partnership with Alax once and for all, Jaina pursues her to the spaceport in hoping to arrest her.

Arriving at the spaceport, Jaina spotted Alax preparing a space cruiser for launch. She hid in one of the cargo containers which was loaded on to the ship. Minutes after the launch when the cruiser left Ashera VII's orbit, Jaina storms the cockpit where Alax was piloting and points a blaster at her, demanding that she turn the ship back to the spaceport and turn herself in. Alax explained in long detail to her partner that she was set up by someone in the department who was the real mastermind behind the arms deal and was pursuing him along with crime lord Kandria Maduel as they head for a far away planet called Earth. Angered by her partner's past mishaps and realizing she maybe telling the truth, Jaina had no choice but to reluctantly join Alax to pursue the Syndicate vessel on their destination. The reluctant traffic duo's pursuit of Maudel's vessel lead them to a far away planet called Earth where they overheard a secret communiquΓ© that Maudel's men arranged for a meeting with the planet's local crime bosses to trade in hi-tech plasma rifles and disintegration missiles. Against the advise of her partner, Alax attempted to fire on the vessel's engines when she accidentally crashes her ship into the vessel's haul, causing the two ships to spiral in Earth's atmosphere and Alax's cruiser crash landed on an abandoned park near Tampa, Florida. Now stranded in an unknown planet, Alax and a more-over frustrated Jaina is forced to stay on Earth for the long while. Knowing that Maudel's next move is to establish a base on Earth to further her criminal enterprise, Alax decided not to call home until she put an end to the crime boss' operations and prove her innocence, even though Jaina disagreed with her at first. After minutes of Jaina throwing temper tantrums, she tired out and forced to join Alax in their mission. Alax gave Jaina the spare power suit for her to wear knowing that Earth is a dangerous planet (they both received advance training on the suits at the academy). They soon set shop at Tampa secretly disguised as office workers to conceal their mission, in Jaina's case, she is disguised as Jayna Hammond , a desk receptionist working as the same building Alax works. Thus begins their awkward adventures of crime fighting, arguing, and occasionally mall shopping in a distant planet they now call their home. If only they survive each other when sharing the same crowded apartment they live in.

Jaina is a no-nonsense, hard boiled professional, occasionally brandishing herself as a stereotypical lone wolf despite having a ditzy partner. She has a short fuse temper, usually triggered by the foul-ups and accidental pratfalls of Alax, leading Jaina to obviously yell at her partner and resorting to (comedic) physical abuse at her (usually punching her in the head, resulting in Alax's temporary "lumps") to straighten her up. Jaina complains that her life is a living hell being with Alax all this time and believes that this was a punishment for that screw up on her only detective case back then. Jaina also gets frustrated by Alax's occasional "laziness" (she usually fells asleep at her day job after a hard day of arresting criminals and fighting evil). But deep inside Jaina somewhat has a little concern for her, given that Alax is the only person that can bring down Maudel's organization and may have a chance of them going back to their home planet. Like Alax, Jaina has an iron will and a strong sense of justice and duty, and will never succumb to evil of corruption. Despite forcing to live with Alax for a prolong period of time, Jaina is determined to help serve and protect the citizens of Tampa, and all of Earth. Her favorite hobbies are karaoke signing and playing racing games at the local arcade. Her favorite Earth is swirled potatoes with cheese salt seasoning.

Jaina is a Class III Humanoid (alien equivalent to a normal Earth human being). But when in her Metron-VI power suit, she gains a wide variety of weapons and powers, including anti-gravity flight, super-strength, limited super-speed, lightning fast reflexes, invisibility, the ability to shrink down to the size of a coin and back (by spinning in super-speeds) and invulnerability against conventional projectile weapons and low-level missiles. Her power suit also gives her the ability to transform any from of vehicle of human-sized object: including a indestructible metal sphere which can roll over obstacles; a metallic drill (in which she transforms into by spinning in super-speeds) which can burrow underground; and a hi-tech motorcycle/scooter capable of high maneuverability and speeds up to 200 MPH (it also can carry an optional passenger). Her suit has additional gadgets and weaponry including a concealed mini-keyboard computer with holographic projection and linked communications, force field micro-emitters for extra protection against heavy weapons and artillery, mini-missile launchers (high explosive and flare) concealed in her breastplate (bra), and micro-electric conductors that enables her to emit an array of lightning/electric-based attacks for defensive and offensive purposes. Her main sidearm is a Asherah VII Police-issue proton nail gun which can be modified to shoot tranquilizer darts for non-lethal applications. Jaina is well trained in Alien and Earth-based martial arts and is more aggressive in applying them headfirst. She is a more experienced detective that her partner given she did spend one year as an investigator; her main expertise are alien weapons ballistics and extraterrestrial physiology. She is extensively trained in manhunting techniques and undercover operations. She is a qualified starship navigator and gunner, and is highly trained in advanced driving techniques for any Alien and Earth-based land vehicle. She is also a trained mechanic, electronics expert and repairwoman.

Ahhh, seems she and Alax make quite the contrast... and it's good that despite their disagreements, they have each other.

Damn u put a lot of thought into the backstories don't u? I like the design; simple but crisp, not confusing visually, and slender.
