It's done. I have no idea how many hours I've spent on this... I've been working on it on and off for a month perhaps, maybe more. I feel that it was worth it, though-- for one, it's not every day that I try to make a background that not completely half-arsed.I suppose I should have spent more time distinguishing the different textures in the foreground(most of the textures are in the background, where they really shouldn't be), but now that spring break is here, I want to launch straight into my next project. I'm determined not to let my spring break slide through my fingers again.

Riddel is my favourite female character from Chrono Cross, but I only use Serge, Guile and Kid... because THEY are the Radical Dreamers.

There's something about the perspective on the carpet , I don't know what it is.

Wow. that is some wicked work. Her outfit is excellently concieved, and the airbrushing is fantastic. My constructive bit: The perspective on the throw rug seems off.

Amen to not letting breaks slip through your fingers... motivation seems to go on vacations, too .
I'm glad I didn't let that happen this time.
I don't know her as a character, but she looks venomous in this setting.
Sipping tea, facing the shadows, gazing absently and almost condescendingly with narrowed eyes...
The overall serpentish-green color theme also adds to that. Very solid job in the atmosphere department. Also a very successful job on the lighting on the table and the ambient airbrushing on the lamp and curtains. On lighter regions (near highlights), I feel like the lineart and textures can be muted a little, though.
Overall, I think it's one of your most detailed works yet, if not the most.

Very nice Dan ^-^ Simply stunning ^-^ I think the foreground stands out a little too much to my liking, but that's just me, it still looks awesome ^-^ Shadows and all is depicted so well! ^_^ I really like how you did the little lamps in the background with the glass refleciton look.
