A fine example of early gothic, combining the dynamic, high shapes of gothic and the clarity of romanism; so much more pleasant to the eye (in my opinion of course, that's a matter of taste) than the later gothic, overloaden like the cathedral of Strasbourg.

Certainly, I agree completely with you dearly, notwithstanding what I appreciate the Cathedral of Strasbourg for its red sandstone on the one hand and the assymetry due to the incompleteness of his second tower on the other.
