My entry into the Daz "Sword and Sorcery" contest. I've always had a profound love of the fantasy genre. It's why a large portion of my gallery is fantasy art. My idea was to have a battlefield, where our main hero's side is seemingly losing the battle, but the tides turn. Blessed by Asera's magic, our hero will rise to strike down the invaders and save his people. A lot of chosen one stories have youthful characters coming into their power. Why not an older soldier?

My original idea was to have healers on a battlefield, resurrecting the fallen, but it eventually morphed into this. This took me about five days to finish, each day dedicated to a particular task. It was a lot of fun to make and turned out better than I had expected. I'm really happy with it. If I didn't post it now, I'd continue editing it and never be happy haha.
