I created this steampunk illustration concept with a challenging perspective view, but everything is still made only with photoshop, you can see it on my youtube channel.It was made for Skywind, as the assembly line of dwemer machines holding up with steampunk tendencies.

There is a big problem with deviantart. There are artists that make me depressed because they draw horribly. Then, there are artists, like you, that make me depressed because they're drawing are too freaking handsome. All of your pieces are hypnotizingly beautiful and original. Especially like the angle of the shot in this one

Motivation, inspiration and fear are just feelings, you create something regardless what you feel. What you need is principles like resilience, patience, discipline, be deliberate and prolific, simply focused (working on them myself).
Look, a real artist at heart will have respect for everyone because they have been there done that meh art. Itβs always more fulfilling to do your thing then try to be someone else. You will not be happy doing same art, technique, and style like me.
I don't look at any better artist than me and feel negative, they better because they spend more time and effort, even The time and The effort. I did not, but if I will spend it, I will get there or close. Hard but simple. You don't even need to be the best to get what you want. Maybe you think you don't have same talent or other lie but you can grind, you can out grind the talent.
Maybe you feel some pain, but the pain is temporary, it may last a day a week, a month, a year, even 5 years but it will eventually subside. Feel whatever you feel and do it anyway.

I guess you're right. I will not mourn the fact that you're better than me, but I will try to improve. There's no need to copy. You make digital art, while I make hand-drawn stuff. You make scenery, while I prefer drawing characters. I will try to, instead of saying to myself that my art is bad, I will say to myself that their art is good and that, if I continue to practice, I will someday be at their level

This is excellent art, hands-down.
Seriously. This looks like a still from one of the world's best anime. I say this because that's generally where you'll find the most ridiculously well-drawn (and animated) machinery. The lighting, color layout, the perspective, the carefully chosen sharp details and the overall composition work together to create a sense of depth while preserving the natural "painterly" feel that makes digital painting so appealing.
Beautiful work. Keep it up, you're bringing some awesome art into the world!

The idea was a view from the top, but drawing perspective I applied imaginary eyelevel/horizon to help myself like a normal tunnel would have. If you could feel it at first glance well I did something accurate ^^
