Iguanas aren't exactly little. They can grow to 1.5 metres (4.9 ft) in length from head to tail with body-weights upward of 20 pounds (9.1 kg). In my experience they meander proudly more so than scurry.

uh, okay. excuuuuuuuuuuuse me if I didn't use the correct terms. jeez.
But hey! If you wanna get technical:
Iguana is a genus for many kinds of lizards, not just this one, and this guy over here is a gallina de palo, very common in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands.
When I said 'little', perhaps I wasn't being clear enough.
There's a nest near my home, so I can sometimes see the baby lizards crawling out of their hole. They're not exactly 4 ft. I'm used to considering them as small, regardless. They're not exactly alligators, are they? Besides, you don't know the basis of my comparison for the creature. What if I was comparing it to another kind of lizard? Or maybe even a car?
(to scurry: move hurriedly with short quick steps.)

No need to get pissy. I didn't give you an attitude, and I will not put up with one from you! I am quite well aware that there are several iguanas. However, iguanas are, as a whole, considered large reptiles, not a green anole sized lizard. The Lesser Antillean Iguana (Iguana delicatissima) is a large arboreal lizard endemic to the Lesser Antilles. The Green Iguana or Common Iguana (Iguana iguana) is a large, arboreal herbivorous species of lizard of the genus Iguana native to Central, South America, and the Caribbean.
(to meander proudly: to go about ones business with a state of superiority.)

Whoa...calm down, lady. But when exactly did I get pissy?
Yeah, you see, that's nice and all, but I STILL fail to see your point.
You were 'correcting' me for describing this animal as 'little' and saying they 'scurry'.
I just wanted to see what was the problem with calling them 'little' and for saying they 'scurry'. Am I supposed to call them 'big' because you insist that science calls them big? Am I supposed to say they 'meander proudly' because in your case, that's what YOU think they do?
See, now THAT is just plain ridiculous.
Maybe your purpose for your original reply was to state your own opinion over the matter, but considering it had nothing to do with my original comment over the picture, other than just your own interpretation and personal experience, leaving with nothing else BUT what you would have said in place of my own words, you came across as rather rude. Perhaps not with an attitude, as you said, but hey! It wasn't particularly welcoming either.
Also reeeeal nice job freaking out and blocking me.
Feel free to block me here again for all I care.

Wow it's just a picture of a lizard no need to get angry or something.
This guy (or gall) was approx. a meter long. So little, big I really don't care. I live in the Netherlands so for me this is a large lizard.
So now let's all be nice.
