I still want to have another go at the squad landing vessel, the split wings/landing gear legs are something I really want to work. The version you saw... just didn't work out too well.

I can see these hovering over a conquered world... keeping the population in line without ever firing a shot. I might add some symbols and markings on these too, matching the markings on the toppers.

That was one thing I wasn't too sure of, because I lacked sufficient reference. I love the idea of marking and notation on hulls, it makes them seem that much more believable.
Also, I didn't really want to distract from the hull lines. ...and I probably would have slipped in some Sigil, the language from Bright Future humanity, if I tried to add signage to the hulls. That stuff gets everywhere. :v
