I thought Leia was less tanned than that. In fact, I thought Luke was more tanned than her in that film. He was a farmer on a desert world, after all, while she was stuck in space for a long time whehn they meet. But what do I know?

They had far more of a romance in the EU than in 'disney canon'. Han changed for Leia there, not like how he knocked her up then left in disney's timeline

Well, he did kidnap her in the EU, so he wasn't exactly the greatest all the time there either. Also, we don't know that's what happened in Disney, that wasn't the impression that I got from Claudia Gray's Bloodline book, and there will probably be more books that will go into further detail.
