Le voilà enfin, mon putin de film d'animation, disponible en qualité crappy.
Pour ceux que ça intéresse, j'ai effectué la compression vidéo dans Adobe Premiere avec le compresseur Sorenson 3 à un ratio de 307 x 207 (4:3) et à 15 images/secondes. La qualité de l'image est réduite automatiquement à 35%, et pour le son, j'ai tout simplement switché à mono parce que réduire la qualité créait du clipping.

For those interested, it was compressed in Adobe Premiere with the Sorenson 3 compressor at 307 x 207 (4:3), 15 fps. The image quality is reduced to 35% by default, and for the sound, I just converted to mono because reducing the quality caused clipping.

This is just great. I love it when a simple story is actually something bigger, but you only realize it at the end. I got a great laugh out of it - keep up the good work!

A ouais, je l'avais vu au "festival d'animation" ( je sé pas comment vous l'appelez) Yé super bon ton film XD jtait pos mal crampé a fin. Vraiment sé super comme film.

we used CTP for linetests.. for the animation and coloration and fx we used Opus

On utilise CTP pour les linetests, puis une fois cleaner, on scan le tout dans Opus (par Toon Boom Animation) qui nous servira pour la XSheet, la colo, les FX. Opus devrait pouvoir faire son 3:2 pulldown lui-même, mais notre version étudiante avait des bugs, alors on le faisait dans Adobe AfterFX, puis le montage final avec son dans Adobe Premiere.

I adored your animation! I especially liked the part with the alien, the movements are unbelievably smooth. Congrats on completing your final project!
I started animation at cvm this week ^_^, hopefully ill be able to come up with something as sweet as this.

You mean, animating this or in general? I've been studying animation for 3 years, the demo itself took one and a half year down from pre-production.. the animating took.. a bit less than a semester

Hahahaa, Oh man... that's incredible. I haven't seen anything that well animated or enjoyable in a really long time.
I mean, when that guy first got knocked off of his bike, I wanted to think of the old The Island tv show, but being a kid with an Atari 440 sitting in my bedroom next to my liquor supply and alarm clock, I was thinking, That reminds me of Pong! Then as the animation progressed (quite smoothly, I must say), I come to find out I was right, not to mention after watching it a few times I finally realized that the alien craft is actually the shape of the Atari logo.
Great work my man, I really like this.
