art trade with the wonderful tokenshy aka dustee! <3

well, this is for tokenshy, as we finally decided to do an art trade. i've know her for like, forever... since i was seven or something. she did a superb picture for me, of my insane derengis and i just hope i can match it in her mind.

so, about two and a half hours, and twenty nine layers, i'm finally finished. if i'm honest, this is probably one of my best ever pieces of work. the background was simply gorgeous, i have no idea how i find these things, and the pose of the horse was great too. i have to darken the body a bit and lighten up the belly and muzzle, for the character is meant to be a seal brown horse.

this is the gorgeous masq, who i've had the chance to rp with and found she's a very cool character - although i'm not sure my charrie thinks so. i tried to get her as elegant, dark and mysterious as she is on here. i really hope that she likes it, i don't know what i'd do if she didn't xD
