Usual gear and weapons:

Bow-rifle with silver tipped bolts (15x) , silver knives, wooden stakes, charms to ward off spirits and prevent demon possession etc, garlic, iron boots (anti goblin, anti fae), R-5 (an illegal drug, developed for military use and then cancelled for the adverse side effects and instability it causes. Dane gets it on the black market, and uses it to boost his abilities to match the strength, speed, and heightened senses of his supernatural prey), syringes, sage.

About: Dane is ..... a terrible person. A+ dirtbag. A monster hunter to his very core, and likely the only thing his shriveled and poisonus heart cares about. That and getting paid, and paid well for "pest control". Any being that is not human, especially those that masquerade as human (vampires and werewolves), and slaughter people, in his eyes are unholy monsters and not fit to live. No exceptions. Aside from this deep rooted hatred, and his desire to one day earn enough money from hunting to retire, Dane cares about very little. He is hostile, heartless, gruff and pushes people away. He was always naturally a loner, but there are likely a few other reasons (To be revealed.... ). A lone wolf, he travels from place to place, on reports and rumors of beast activity.
Dane may fight for the lives of humans vs. monsters and spirits, but that doesn't mean he likes or cares about people. He's not above violence against his fellow man, and would beat the crap out of someone or shoot them non-lethally if they got in his way, and without a second thought. However, he does not take jobs for hunting and killing humans. He's a monster hunter not a common bounty hunter. It won't completely stop him from killing a man in self defense, but he wouldn't take a job for it. It is likely he is a deeply unhappy person, and not just mean for the hell of it. A soul so closed off it might as well not exsist, there is likely no redeeming Dane Klassen, and even he knows that. Given his increasingly reckless behavior, increased use of R-5 , and poor coping with life events, it is likely the only thing greater than his self loathing is his disgust for non-human creatures.
Its very difficult to make this man smile, and if you do, its likely over something cruelly ironic or nasty. If he's smiling at you, and his eyes have rings around iris: Run.

Strengths: Professional monster hunter, intelligent and calculates his moves. Does his research before hunting, finds key weaknesses of targets. Tenacious, tough, and independent. Stong and tall, terrifyingly strong and fast when on R-5 (think PCP and steroids. ._.; ). Deeply motivated to kill monsters, especially those that appear human but are not and are know for killing humans.

Weaknesses: Hostile and impossible to work with in a team. He can easily be made to lose his temper and react with violence. Likely has been in trouble with the law. Poor communicator. Apathetic, even about his own life at times. Greedy, in it for the money and his fanatical crusade against non-humans.
After affects of R-5 take a massive toll on his health, particular on his heart, senses, and nervous system. He's on at least 5 other medications to combat and level off the side effects.
