Description See, I give my photos names because I am at least trying to wage war against the trap of just shitting out the same image over and over again.

If I knew enough to critique I would, but until then I'll just complement the photo and also the catchy explanation.

Critique? Pffff. Just say what you do or don't like about it. That's all there is to it. Do you have an opinion, and can you say why you hold it? Voila! (add accent marks at your own discretion) You are now an art critic!

Hell Yeah! I've reached my goal of being an international art critic! I knew that if anyone could do it, I could. Good work. Your art empowers people.

My work makes people empower themselves, if what you say is accurate! Which is much better, I think. Empowering people sounds like a lot of responsibility.

Yes, but with responsibility comes status.

Ha ha ha. I guess Australia's recently deposed Prime Minister can back you up on that. Hey, I need your advice. I've got two 77mm filter rings with busted filters so I'm going to get rid of the glass and put new glass in. I was thinking of a yellow color filter. Do you think this is the right color to go with for my architectural style?

Also, the janitor who cleans the restrooms in the public buildings on campus has a terribly important job but does not have almost any status! It goes both ways.

I think the right glass to go with is NO GLASS. You should glue the two filters together such that the threading is on the outside for both; then you can attach other 77mm lenses to the front of any mounted 77mm lens and you get an instant macro setup for almost no money. If you have not tried it I highly recommend giving it a shot. Failing that, yellow could work, though I tend to eschew colour filters for photoshop postprocess and white balancing.

See, this is why I have made you chief photo-advisor to M.H. Nation. That is a brilliant idea that I hadn't even thought of!

Let me know if you try it- I'd love to see what you can do. You have better lenses than I do, so your results should be better than the ones I have posted here. (see: [link] )

Mmmm, i like the low focus point. And it's a damn good shade of rusty red color. I can't stop lookin at it!

Bravo

Glad you like. All I see when I look is how bad the bokeh looks- makes everything feel inappropriately bubbly, and the focus feel soft. But yes, I have finally made some curves settings that I sorta like.
