I love this picture as much as the day I first finished it. The composition is well balanced and there's nothing hugely gibbled or messed up looking about it. Oh, I like it very much! It's like I could feel the textures of the things that are in this picture. That gold item hanging from the blade looks interesting. What is it exactly?

It's a lanturn. I got the idea from the boatman on the river Styx. He has a lanturn to guide him to the underworld and back, so I thought it would be fitting in this picture. The blue wisps inside of it are captured spirits.
