You win the 10,000$ price sir. I just finished that game and the only thing I purpously took from those aliens were the blue lights. Apart from that it looks like every other scifi vehicle in the last 10 years (I liked the looks of Crysis but the look of the aliens were not original by any stretch of the imagination). So I'm not all that happy about it in that sense. I was just bored

As for the unoriginal Crysis aliens, I hear you. I was a bit underwhelmed by them as well, but the rest of the game kicked serious ass.

Why is now every s-f thing compared to Halo?
It rather reminds me of Yuuzhan Vong ships from Star Wars: New Jedi Order series.

I think it's because Halo looks like all other scifi there days. The only new scifi I can think of that have a really original look are the Star Wars prequels. Aaaand perhaps Half Life 2.
