Take it little by little. For me detail can be really overwhelming and I get bored quickly
since I have the attention span of a goldfish. I pretty much broke every large hair chunk
down into smaller chunks, and I'd start them by just making lines that swept into the
natural flow. I just did this until the bits and bits got smaller, filling in the strips
and opting out as I went. I didn't use pencil for that process, but using pencil would probably
be helpful.
I hope...that made senseee.. Fff. I have some progress shots on my phone I could put in my scraps
if you'd like. c:
