'The blizzard had hit us during the battle against the Jotun, but we fought on. Unyielding and guided by the voices of our gods in our heads.
We kept fighting. Our enemies outnumbered and soon we pushed them back, brave and strong we kept fighting.
The songs of victory in our hearts and the warmth of Valhall protected us from the cold.
We pushed the Jotun between the mountains where we had set the trap, our glorious gods giving us strength.
We kept fighting, but the trap did not snap. The mountains did not collapse over the heads of our victims.
The last thing I heard then was a howl that pierced through the raging blizzard.
We turned on our heels and then we saw him.
Grim and terrible he stood and all bravery, all courage and songs, every bit of wramth and strength faded from us and the voices of our mighty gods fell silent. Everything fell silent. The wind, the ice, the snow. Steel cutting through steel, my commerades falling, all was silent as fear filled me where once has been courage and while the others died I ran. Only once I dared to look back. Then he was the only one standing and our eyes met. Through the storm they pierced my soul and I was certain I would soon join my brothers, but no, he let me go. He wanted me to run back and tell the gods themselves what I had seen.
Fenrir is coming.'

So, for the last weeks I have been working on Fenrir's armor and general appearance in battle. I wanted to give him the impression of winter, grim and powerfull, but beautiful in it's way. And hopefully it gives you -along with the little story- an impression of how Fenrir would appear in the battles of Ragnarok.
