Description my friend, tracey (~drugstoorcowgirl ), sent me some fall leaves from illinois (since this is florida, and we don't get them here)... but unfortunately they didn't quite survive the trip. they arrived all dried and brown, but I still made some use of them... hopefully good

quite a bit of editing was done to darken the backdrop, and adjust the levels

oh this is just perfectly charming! I love the negative space and the black background.. somehow that creates a rather unsual atmosphere for this sort of subject matter. I feel as though i could be laying down and watching the leaves fall down. Really a wonderful and unusual mood... i think it's just charming.. and good job putting those leaves to use. nice

I like how they look like they're falling back. It reminds me of fractil art, kinda. The big leaf is the coolest though, because it's missing it's stem. You should try to get up north somtime to see the fall colors, It's one of the most beutiful things, I was in New orlens all of fall yast year and missed the trees turning colors, this year was amazing, it was so nice to see them again, I kept thinking, I need to photograph this. but they peak and turn brown so fast If you wait, like i did, you miss all the fun. Great picture, way to work with a bunch of brown leaves!

Exquisite Work.

I love everything about this one. The composition of it its great, and the main idea is nice as well. I love the pattern you have created with the smallest leaves being farthest away, and the bigger ones closer. Its good to see you created something so good with these leaves.

They seem to me as if they are either flying away in the wind, or going down a drain. It almost reminds me of a drawing or a graphic more than a real picture. Good going with the organization, you have great ideas; it’s even greater when you actually do them.

Well done Love

Yes! I like this a lot. All the black space definitely does a good job focusing in on the little details. Feels like a very studio kind of shot. They really do look like theyre floating and I kinda wonder how you managed that affect, especially with each one a little further away from another. It looks so spooky like the little one is falling into the black abyss.. hehe. Once again I think theres just a bit too much black space at the top, but thats just nitpicking. The idea is definitely here and I love the clearcut edges of the leaves. Great shot I'm trying to get Jared to send me some maple leaves but they dont get too many where he lives so its cool that you got to see them!

Interesting development of the concept.
Simple, and of great impact. The B&W is an essential allied here...
In one word, "comunicative".
It'll be nice on the wall...
