'Mime' 40x40 acrylic and ink on canvasA traditional black and grey Japanese tattoo style dragon 'trapped' in an invisible box,just like a mime.
Paint is still wet,hope you enjoy.
Will be for sale with the rest of my paintings.

extremely impressive? those dimensions are in inches,right? dayyyym that's a mondo big canvas! the biggest i've done is almost that size, 38"x40". i couldn't paint on it in the house, there just wasn't a flat surface big enough in the house. i didn it in the drive way. it was fun cause a lot of it was spray paint. i don't usually do concept pieces but that one was.

this is my favorite combo of colors. i love the way you've depicted it trapped in an invisible box. do you know who ?
she paints these awesome murals that are often called like squished elephant and tangled baboon and such. they're packed in a box tightly. sort of like this. she has a super cool gallery.
dang, i really this! i draw ornate tribal tattoo designs, but i don't do anything with them.

Wow, those are some amazing details you've put into the dragon's scales. The way you did the tail look really interesting as well, how did you do that?

The tail? its a combination of overlaying ink over ink and adding highlights with acrylic.
