Description
I noticed that I had screwed up the placement of the trigger and trigger finger on the left-hand gun, so I reworked and rerendered it. Then I continued on with the second gun and the hands. I think maybe the hand in the foreground was even more difficult than the face, but I am happy with the way it came out. This is not so true of the right hand, where I just couldn't get the hatching to come out right. From here I went on to line out the shots from the guns and fill in any gaps in the outmost outline so that I could fill the background with the fill tool. This introduce imperfections in the final piece, and I spent a couple of hours zoomed in tight and covering over the impossibly thin strip of patchy white that comes out on the outer edge of the filled area. Also, somehow I did much of the filling and the drawing other than the face in a very blacklike color that is not exactly black. I am too lazy to fix it, though.
