"Is Kameo Reborn/Kalus: The Mystic's Revenge cancelled?"

I will address these two separately and explain their story lines, since it's been a long time and I want to rewrite these into one single comic.

Kameo: Reborn
This is meant to be a very different take on the story with OCs and a dark twist. When I was working on this comic, I didn't have a solid storyline that was 100% fleshed out, it was just the plot that I had sorted out but I winged the rest of the details (you can probably tell this fact when you go and read through the current pages)

This plot I find cringey now, but I want to explain this so people do not get the wrong idea, especially with it having such a dark opening.

The story was that a new company had formed called GentleChip (No this isn't Microsoft, they still exist, this is a rival company) and wanted to test out new technology to make games better. Their technology would only work on IPs that have existed long enough to be somewhat recognizable and merge their technology and AI with the world and it's characters to give a more satisfying experience to players, while also using that same program to make super soldiers (like I said, this is a cringey plot to me now)

"So what's with the opening?"
Sometimes people are in the wrong place at the wrong time and discover the 'living' characters in inhumane conditions, but instead of killing these intruders, their memories are tampered with, giving that person a false memory of an attempt to end their own life, before throwing that person through. While the memory is taking effect, the person isn't aware, otherwise they would notice being thrown through a portal and realise they're being messed with.

This is what the opening was and was meant to be a big reveal later on, however I find this both cringey and a bad use of such a sensitive topic being used in this way. I am a very different writer now, compared to back then.

I also want to make this very clear, since some have the wrong idea: "K" is not me, she is not meant to represent me, she is a random OC I made up for this story. I make no appearance in this comic, nor do I plan to.

Her look was meant to drastically change as the story progressed, but during this time I had a 'default' drawing of baggy hoodies, jeans and a slightly realistic style that clashes with the other character's styles in the comic.

Kalus: The Mystic's Revenge
This comic, as the name implies, is meant to be focused on Kalus' story while exploring the lore that never made it into the game. It has the same problem that Kameo Reborn has, in that I didn't write out a fleshed out script for the comic, and because of that, there are a lot of mistakes that can be spotted on the pages.

This comic is strictly no OCs and entirely lore/canon only but there were some problems with this, especially since I wanted to expand on lore from the older versions of the game and bring them into the comic's story.

Now, at the time of both of these comic's creation, I did not know the full extent of the Lore for the game and I felt like the way I represented some of the characters in their comics came out rather poorly. Because of this, I want to write the story first before starting up the comic, something that focuses more on the characters, instead of having an OC as a somewhat main focus.

This does not mean I am deleting either comic, I want to leave both up in case I ever change my mind and want to come back to these. In the meantime, in my free time I will work on the story first. I won't post a single page while the story is incomplete.
