Description
This was orginally going to be Carnival Knights, with Meta Knight and Galacta Knight. Sorry, GK . There wasn't any room.I have to say that since I’ve started drawing digitally, I haven’t been making that great of a use of Adobe’s capabilities, especially with color. So... yeah, I went all out. Seriously, this is the most colorful thing in my gallery as of now, and actually, I think it matches the Kirby universe great.
I wish I did a bit more with the layout.

No problem. I just had a really big urge to critique since you asked for it and I really did like it. It was just after the initial scanning of it, it felt like something was amiss so I wanted to express it. I'm glad my ramblings got through somehow. Actually, it was rather difficult to write and I also had to restrain from suggesting stuff (would be unfair, I suppose). I mean gosh! Do people usually have such a hard time giving constrictive criticism? Nonetheless, I'm glad to be of help and I'll just check out more of your artwork when I have more time later!

I've been anticipating seeing this picture get colored, and now that I've seen it, I'm very impressed. The first thing that strikes my fancy is the colour, of course. You've done a magnificent job capturing the essence of a carnival. The shading is quite unique as well, especially on MK's hat and mask, although the banner could use a little more of it. The background is fitting, but I think it needs a little more flair than just black with a few dots for stars (like, maybe make the bottom the horizon, since MK's up in the air). I like the approach for the Ferris wheel where it looks like a silhouette in the background. As for the layout, I like how you have MK just up there watching everything while juggling some cards. If I were to nitpick, then I would say the balloons look like a different style of shading is used which is a tad bit distracting, and if you look closely, a little of the red balloon's color bleeds into the yellow's. It's also a bit unclear what Meta's sitting on (to me anyway..), and his feet could be a bit larger.
Overall, great picture, great concept, and Meta Knight looks sufficiently mysterious and badass even with the carnival outfit. ^-^

Nightmare looks amazing in the game. Hands down. I'm really interested in seeing the entire darkening effect.
Meta Knight's a little too easy to get used to playing as. Heh. I just like the fact that he can fly back up on the stage and is light enough that he doesn't drop like a rock to his death. I never can play as Bowser or Ganondorf just because of that. XD

I think my biggest nitpicks are the flags hanging from the string. I look at the line art, and they were at some point very smooth, but it seems you removed the lines and redid the flags...? It seems wherever the lines were removed, you tried to blur the edges (the cape folds show just a tad of that, too, upon comparing both images). Also, maybe the flags could use a little shading; I'm not sure if they're made from shiny material or not, but they could at least be darker where they recede into the background. And this isn't a bad thing, but the line art had some... twinkly things around the flags that were lost...?
Well, that's the bad news.
The good news is the effort you put into such a detailed image is quite commendable. I haven't wanted to comment on a stranger's art in this much detail in forever, but I was drawn to all the details as well as, well, your request for critique.

Yes, I did change the final a bit from the line art, so not everything is the same. Oh, serves me right for cheating a bit. I used a a line tool which I guess got a little distorted and became a bit blurry. XD
