Don't ever try to sneak onto Hera Valroma's personal estate, thinking that you're going to have easy pickings just because she's away for weeks at a time. Chances are, Arion and Tanis here might just decide that you're perfect fodder for teaching their pup Charis the finer points of hunting.

Tanis, the female (left), and Arion, the male (right,) are the alphas of their pack, the entirety of which Hera "inherited" after killing their former owner, one Giovanni Montgomery; he had attempted to pit her against a rival of hers in a fight to the death, and wound up being fed to his (very much abused and neglected) varren for his troubles, along with a number of his "guests" who'd come by to place wagers.

The alphas are quite loyal to their adoring new mistress, and the rest of the pack follows suit. Spirits help anyone foolish enough to try to test that loyalty.
