Very, very nice. That must've been a heck of a moment holding your breath and moving in close. I'm completely oblivious to how photography works tho, you could've been sniping this from fifteen feet away for all I know lol but anyways, nice shot and nice gallery.

Those kind of moments are just great. I ran into a fox once and for whatever reason it was curious so it kept peeking its head out from behind a couple of trees in an orange grove I was working at a few years ago. I guess some of the people who worked there might have left food pretty often or something. I always seem to be minus a camera when stuff like that happens to me. Also, I'm a little too impatient I think for photography. It's an interesting field to me though and particularly useful because it's wonderful for referencing ideas, poses, etc.
Anyways, keep up the good work and thanks for the faves and stuff!

Wow, amazing capture - and really well composed, which must've been hard, given the circumstances. Β For the most part, you did a good job of eliminating the background, and keeping the butterfly sharply in focus. Β The bright color of the flower is amazing, but the colors on the butterfly aren't overwhelmed by it, coz the butterfly is well placed in the photo, and is more in focus, so great job on that. Β
