LINK TO SOURTONGUE GALLERY - [link]Here's a comic of Sourtongue & Denzel featuring a spoof off the gothic classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. You gotta know it to understand this
First panel - Denzel comes in shouting "Hey! Sourtongue!" Sourtongue is reading a hot magazine and grouchily says "Denzel! Quit your breaking-and-entering, runt!! I need my privacy too!" Denzel says "Look at what I got in my cereal!"
Second Panel - Sourtongue looks at the item Denzel has. "What the heck is THAT?" Denzel replies "A hypno ring!" "A what?"
Third Panel - Denzel says "I really wanna try it out on someone so I can fulfill my dream of becoming a Caligari master!"
Fourth Panel - Sourtongue says "'Caligari'? As in the German mad doctor who kills people with his mime or something?" Denzel says "Yeah! Totally! I wanna be a mad doctor and you can be my somnambulist!" Sourtongue asks "Somna-? You mean a dumb sleep-walker?" Denzel says "Uh-huh! Just like the movie! I just have to hypnotize you into acting like one!"
Fifth Panel - Sourtongue goes back to his magazine saying "You're on your own." Denzel cries "WHAT!? WHY!?" to which his neighbor replies "I am NOT gonna run around in tight black leotards and clown make-up just to please you."
Sixth Panel - Sourtongue wraps his tongue around Denzel saying "And besides: I'm Sourtongue!! I am the greatest ghost in the entire stinkin' Netherworld! I am what you call 'unhypnotizable'. Need I repeat myself?" Denzel swindles him in by saying "Hmmm. Here's an idea 'Mr. Unhypnotizable': why don't we prove your unhypnotizable-ness?" Sourtongue responds "Is that a threat, punk!? You're on!!"
ONE MINUTE LATER
Final Panel - Denzel says "I win" for it turned out that his hypno ring worked on the 'unhypnotizable' Sourtongue, who is now dressed as the somnambulist from the Cabinet of Doctor Caligari.
This is for fans of German expressionism films ^^
I couldn't help but love them

I watched the movie just now, AND I LOVE IT. It's like, without that movie, Tim Burton would probably be making movies about structurally sound buildings, normal things, and well adjusted people. MAKES ME WANNA DRAW A TON OF BLACK AND WHITE SHIT.
But dude, this is just so cute! I LOVE little Denzel, and Sourtongue is just so funny! (lol 'studying' his magazine!) I love it!

Only a few folks understood this comic 'cause, well, the world o' old theater is dead as is Hollywood and German expressionism ain't any different; now its mistaken for Tim Burton style. 
Sourtongue could be funny from time to time. I think its kind of like Dandy; he ain't funny through force or jokes but through personality and fails. xD

I love that stuff. I like artsy, trippy films, old movies... Heck, a lot of old stuff is just as stirring as new stuff. Ever seen Dark Victory? I CRIED.
(I also have an inner thing for Sundance films... Brave Little Toaster, Little Miss Sunshine, hnnngggg)
I love Sourtongue though... He's just so funny and endearing. Probably one of my favorites of yours.
