tumblr (more of this stuff, social, questions, artworks, etc.) --> countandi.tumblr.com/ WEBSITE --> www.andispyral.com/ After a mainly disheartening birthday, I went ahead and finished this baby because Summer has been trying to beat me up, so I thought "Draw SOMETHING, yo! ANYTHING! But SOMETHING! Something that can DISTRACT from the PAIN, bro!"
Soooooo... here's a Decembersville piece based on the dude that is a silly twit for 95% of the story and going through a vicious mental crisis the other 5%. Mainly, I wanted to do some more of that melt-into-traditional-colors mumbo jumbo I loved. c:

yeah, I am currently in a slump and urgh... you know that, when you work on a piece.. for hours.. and then it absolutely does not turn out (ambiance wise, and in this case perspective, ambient light, highlighting, depth, basically everything, really) the way you see it in your head... and you are like 'THE FUCK DID I SPENT ALL MY TIME ON DAMINIT I WANT THIS DOOOOOOONE!!!'?
yeah.. urgh...
Anyway, don't be down about your birthday, whatever it was that pulled you down about it. Your art is wonderful, it has a feeling and ambiance, a certain line work I tried and failed repeatedly and I really enjoy it a lot

And as for the materials, I used: a micron ink pen for the linework, a micron "graphic" pen (size 3) for the inking, and Prismacolor markers for the rest of the colorful areas. c: Added a few little light glimmers on Photoshop.
