From the way Stella talked in episode 2, it felt more like she had a problem with him having relations with an imp. Since imps are considered to be at the very bottom of Hell’s hierarchy, she would probably consider it an unworthy act for someone of his status. Heck, the fact that she reacted negatively to him mentioning ‘motel’ could be further proof of this. Who knows? Maybe Blitzo isn’t the only one Stolas got intimate with? Maybe Stella has a few lovers too?

Stella and Stolas’ marriage is a marriage of convenience; they didn’t marry because of love, but because they needed to for some reason. If they divorced, it would probably cause some problems beyond their control. Plus, maybe they stay for Octavia’s sake; they both love her deeply, and would rather keep up an illusion than make her sad.
