fern's leggies look so skinny here oof- i mean they are a lanky lean bean baby but perhaps i miscalculated here... w @;; but honestly,,, i kinda like how it looks~ i really admire more cartoony styles these days so it's cool playing around with it myself hehe

ive been admiring dana terrence (oh god did i spell that right?? im too lazy to google at this point), the creator of owl house, and looking at her stuff on twitter. its so cool to see so much anatomy and perspective yet so much fluid motion in a single artist's style. i dont think she gets enough credit for being an amazing artist-- that stuff is hard to pull off!!!

for a while now ive been staying away from uploading sketches here cause i want a really clean look on my DA, but as of late ive just been doodling a lot in my sketchbook and its been really freeing. i get really tense when im drawing on my tablet and after hours of hyperfocus i feel awful. my sketchbook just feels good, and while i promised myself i would focus this year on more digital fanart i just need a week to chill a bit. so expect an influx of messy doodles for a small bit uwu
