I hope you don’t mind a long-winded commentary. I know I value those rare occasions when a reader tells me how a story made her (or him) feel, and this picture has elicited such a wild range of reactions from me that I hope you’d appreciate—or at least, that you won’t mind—if I share that experience with you.
First of all, this is a fantastic picture. I don’t know squat about art, but I can see that you put quite a bit of thought into the technical aspects of the picture, in particular the unique point-of-view. It’s a very clever parody of the old Space Invaders game (which I remember when it was the very latest thing, supplanting Pong). When I first saw it, I was tickled at the look of unbounded delight on Tucker’s face, which is a pleasure to see. I’m a bit of a Tucker partisan, so it’s nice to see him so happy. Your picture also gives credit to his intelligence and creativity, as it’s implied that he created this game himself.
When I ponder the story behind the picture (as I like to do when the picture is well done) I realize that this illustration also reflects something of Tucker’s capitalistic nature. He may have created this game for his own amusement, but you can bet he can sell it to his classmates. One of Tucker’s well-established character flaws is his willingness to make a quick buck even if it hurts a friend—which raises the question of what Danny would think of this game if he saw it. And to be honest, I think there’s something vaguely. . . creepy about the game. Danny’s image is in the “shooter” position at the bottom of the screen, which means that the player—Tucker, in this case—is using Danny’s virtual body and exercising his virtual powers. (Remember how Danny and Tucker imaginatively projected themselves into the game Doomed?) Perhaps this might even be a bit of vicarious payback for the times Danny has overshadowed Tucker.
And then I have to share with you my reaction to the picture in the context of the DPRF contest. Taken by itself, it’s a delightful picture with slightly disquieting overtones, but in the context of the contest theme (Tucker saves the day) it was depressing as heck. In his over-stimulated imagination, perhaps, Tucker is saving the day. But in reality he is doing no such thing. Danny is a genuine hero; Tucker is just a kid with a computer. As are we all, I suppose. I may not be killing make-believe ghosts with make-believe powers right now, but I do spend time writing stories about a hero instead of. . . oh, I don’t know, putting out forest fires or performing brain surgery. (For a living I do payroll taxes, which is not exactly the stuff of epic tales.)
So in sum: fantastic picture, happy thoughts, with a creepy chaser and an aftertaste of existential angst. Congratulations on the win in the contest!

I love this. It's so cute.
There just aren't enough good pictures of Tucker out there and this pic so totally fills his character.

This is great! Very clever concept, and you pulled it off very well. I can just see Tucker making a little Flash game like this, if only to market it to the students of Casper High XD
